I Love My Jerm!!!

I woke up this morning to find this in the fridge to greet me. Last night I went to be before Jerm got home from work so he had to pick up something to eat for dinner. Jerm is not a big soda drinker, but I am!!! With his combo dinner he ordered me a Diet Coke and put it in the fridge for me so I could enjoy it the next day. No Diet Coke has ever tasted so good!!! I love my hubby!!!

Still Going Strong On a New Carrot...

Fun Day...

I love this picture. I think that she looks so happy!!! The high chair continues and Dani mastered it pretty quickly.
So Many Toys, So Little Time!!!
Dani has been a bit fussy lately so Nana gave her something to naw on. Dani chewed on this carrot for almost an hour.
She Loved IT!!!

Trying on My Blessing Dress...

Originally, Jeremy and I decided that we wanted to have Dani blessed in my blessing dress. It would have worked had our lives not changed so much. We had planned on blessing her in July, but Jeremy got a new job working for Petsmart and he couldn't get the time off to travel to Utah to bless Dani when we planned. So... we had to wait until September. This was my blessing dress and in some of the pictures I think that she actually looks like me. It is two weeks before the blessing and I can't do up the top button on this dress.
She was trying to sit up, but look at those cute legs and pigs.

This is the one where I think that she looks like me. I wish I could download my picture when I was her age to compare. But she is beautiful.

Happy Birthday to ME!!!!

I so love my hunny!!!! He means the world to me! and isn't he the most hansome man ever??!!! I sure do think so. WE went to Cracker Barrel for my Birthday Dinner. I alway get the French Toast. It has the bestest syrup in the whole world. It is pure maple and so ultra yummy. Every one needs to try it atleast once.

Aren't we a happy couple? We think so!!!

This was Dani's first experience in a high chair. She was so cute in it. She didn't want to sit in her carseat. She was so fun to watch!!!

The Tender Moments of Being a Mom...

I had fed and rocked Dani and she had fallen asleep already in my arms. As I was bending over her crib to lay her down she opened up her pretty blue eyes and smiled at me. Then she closed them and went back to sleep. My heart broke and I was so touched by the tenderness that I felt. She is such an amazing little spirit. I am so blessed to be her mother. She has broght so much happiness and joy into my life.
I found this quote today...
It is not a slight thing when they,
who are so fresh from God,
Love Us.
I could not be more happy than I am with both my daughter and my sweet husband.
I will love you both 'til the day after forever.

The Sippy-Cup...

Danilynn has decided that she doesn't want to take a bottle. Not of any kind. However, she will take a sippy cup. Who would have thought that she would skip the bottle. She would rather suck on her fingers and get nothing than suck on a bottle and get fed. She really likes ice water through a straw of just out of my cup, but I thought a sippy cup would be a good investment for our future. Mostly my sainity. I don't want to be cleaning up spilled drinks cause she won't take a sippy cup.

Oh, how sweet!!!

Dani's Cute Summer Dress from Aunt Cami...

I have been anxiously waiting for the day when Dani could wear this beautiful dress. Cami gave this to her and I was so excited when I saw it and even more excited when I put it on her this morning for church. Isn't it cute?
I sent a Thank You message to Jason's Phone to pass on to Cami. Word for word this is the exchange.
Nikki: Tell Cami Thank You so much for this dress. It is so cute. I love it on her.
Jason: No prob, it did not fit Cameron (their little boy) anymore.
Nikki: Yes, I am sure that is what happened.
We have great fun with these kids. I am so excited to see Cameron and to watch as he and Dani interact in a couple of weeks when we go visit our family in Utah.
Such a pretty, pretty girl!!!!
Momma loves You!!!

The Sky is Falling...

Over the last week the average high temperature has been about 105 degrees. So we have been working our air conditioners like crazy just to keep the house around 78-80 degrees. Well, Mom and Dad Barbers has decided to go on strike. I guess work wasn't worth the pay. The unit actually started leaking onto their bedroom ceiling. Dad noticed it last night and decided that he needed to climb up into the attic to check out the situation. Well, on his way back down the ladder he hears this really loud crack and thud. There was a 4x4 foot hole in the ceiling. A sheet of drywall gave up the fight and had to release it's heavy burden. All of the insullation came crashing to the floor along with the piece of drywall. The mound of insullation was about five feet long and two and a half feet tall.

Dad Barber was a trooper and got the mess all cleaned up and made all the phone calls for insurance while I put Dani to sleep. When Jerm came home from work, we syphoned out the spill tray under the air conditioning unit. We have such fun, and we always pick such exciting activities to do together. The thing I am most excited for is shopping for new carpet. Decorating is one of my most favorite things.

Smiles...

It is very rare when we can all experience happiness at the same time. Usually one of the three of us is not really happy, but at this specific time, everyone was content, and smiling. Gia doesn't have her best smile on, but she is still a cutie!!!
Princess Rose!!! She is such a happy baby, we really lucked out getting this special little treasure.

The Baby Pod

This is one of the greatest things for an independent child. Dani is in the phase where she wants to be sitting up all of the time, but doesn't have the ability to make that happen. Well, I found this at walmart. It just props her up. She can actually sit up straight, when she wants to. (I think she gets that from me.)
So Cute!!!!

Rolling Over...

She has filled our lives with sunshine and our hearts with love.

Dani can now sucessfully roll over both from her tummy to her back and from her back to her tummy. I was so excited for her, then reality hit...she is now mobile, basically. She of course does her best work when she is angry. If she is content she will just lay there and play, but when she is mad she rolls pretty fast.

Her smiles light up my day!!!!
She is just so fun and so very cute.

Great Aunt and Uncle

Jeremy's extended family lives here in Casa Grande or the surrounding towns. Dani met for the first time her Great Aunt Barbara and Great Uncle Darryl. Barb is Jerry's sister. It was so great. Barbara brought a doll for Dani that was given to Barb by her father. Now Dani has a doll from her Great Grandfather. It even has his handwritting on it cause he signed the tag. What a treasure.

GREEN BEANS!!!!

Danilynn tried green beans for the first time today. It sure looked disgusting to me, but for the first time in her eating solid food life, she ate the whole container of food.
I know that it looks like most of it ended up on her face, but I promise she did get the majority of the food in her mouth. Obviously GREEN BEANS are a hit. (Which is good because they are my favorite veggie.) Another plus of this feeding is she didn't once try to put her hands in her mouth. I was so excited when I was washing her face off because I didn't have to pry her hands open to wash them too. HAPPY DAY!!! The little treasures mean the most don't they?

Resting with Papa...

I know that this is an interesting picture. It is hard to know what way is up. But I had to run to the Verizon store and the Grocery store and we had been running around all day and I didn't want to put her through some more errands. Papa graciously said that he would take her for me. When I came back home 45 minutes later, she was all cuddled up with her papa. They have a special bond.
