Tummy Time!!!!

Dani loves her tummy time and so does our puppy Paizley. We have to keep a close eye on Paiz to make sure that she doesn't give Dani kisses on the face.
But they really enjoy their time together. We are really lucky to have a dog that is kid friendly. She is actually more than kid friendly. She is very protective of her little girl. It is really very cute.

Cell Phone Pictures...

So I have decided that I have a pretty dull life. I do the same things day in and day out. My mom called and said that I needed to add pictures to my blog and I thought, I don't have anything new because I do the same thing everyday. Then I realized that I had a bunch on pictures on my cell phone that I could add.
7/18/07-Dani is such a big girl. Look at how close she is to rolling over.
7/24/07-I went to check on Dani while she was taking her nap and this was how I found her. She is very strong and is getting really good at controlling her head movements. We ofter refer to her as bobble head because she reminds us of those old bobble head dolls. She looks like she just woke up huh?

7/25/07-This is a very cute outfit given to her from her Uncle Charlie and Aunt Cecile Barber. The hat is a hand me down from Gia. But I loved the hat. She liked it more than she likes the big flowers.
7/27/07-Like I said before, Gia loves to play with Dani. This is the reason, in living color why I have to put one of them in the "cage". Look at Gia's blurry hand. When I got the camera to take the picture they were just sitting there, happy as can be then all of the sudden the camera comes out and the hitting begins. Oh, one day, Dani will be big enough to take Gia on, and that day is coming sooner than either of them realize. Laura, Gia's mom, and I joke about Dani keeping score, and one day getting her revenge.

7/30/07- ok, I know that I have to be one of the worst mom's in the world for doing this, but I have to tell you that it isn't all my fault. Most of the time that Dani spends with her Papa is watching t.v. and for some reason she finds it soothing. When things get a little hectic with both of the girls and I am two seconds from my breaking point, and Dani is two seconds from hers, I just put her shaky chair infront of the t.v. and she stops crying. UGHH...I so didn't want to have a t.v. bug for a baby.

Many Prayers are needed...

Meet Jaden Curtis Fuller. He was born 13 weeks premature. His mommy is my cousin, Tawna Dickamore Fuller. He is breathing on his own, and he is a spunky little kid that is a great fighter. However, prayers are still needed for this little guy. He has a few weeks ahead of him in the PICU. They don't release premature baby's to go home until they reach their gestational due-date. But isn't he adorable. He was only a little over three pounds when he was born. He just needs a few more prayers sent heavenward in his behalf.

Tawna says that the few minutes a day that they get to hold him is so precious to her. She is a great mom with great faith. She is one of my heros. God Bless, Tawna and Curt.

Lunch with Daddy...

After work on Tuesdays and Thursdays, we go and pick up Jeremy for his Lunch break. Well, today, Danilynn was a very unhappy little girl. So I took her out of her carseat and tried to eat and hold her at the same time, but she kept on leaning forward. I told Jeremy that she wanted him to hold her and he didn't believe me, but he took her anyway. Guess who stopped leaning over? She got what she wanted, HER DADDY, and she was back to being a happy little girl.
Danilynn loves her Daddy. She started laughing at him. Full on throw her head back and laugh. She hasn't done it for anyone else. Only her Daddy and just that one time. We have tried and tried to get her to do it again, but she won't. It was a one time deal special for her very special Daddy.

One Little Girls Prison is another Little Girls Fortress...

Gia LOVES to play with Dani...the only problem is that Dani can't really play back. I like to let Dani wake up on her own after her naps so I usually lay her on the floor under her jungle gym to let her kick around. Except today, instead of locking Gia up in her "cage", I put Dani in the "cage" for her own protection.
And guess who wanted in the "cage". For the first time ever, since the "cage was purchased Gia wanted in.

I was laughing my guts out.

The Men in Her Life...

Dani will not know what to do with herself when she is forced to spend sometime by herself. I don't know if she has ever not been the center of attention. When we get home from work her Papa comes running ( I am not kidding...RUNNING) from his bedroom to get her out of her carseat. When she is home he can't stand to have her away from him. There at times at night when I take her to put her to sleep and she cries and cries. I am certain that she is crying because she doesn't want to go to sleep yet. She enjoys playing way too much. There are even nights when Jeremy is working and doesn't get home until 10:45 and she will stay up for him. No matter what I do, I can't get her to fall asleep. She is certainly a Daddy and a Papa's Girl.

Swinging Away...

Dani spends a ton of her time swinging in her swing. Atleast as much as I can get her to. I try to give her other toys to keep her occupied in the swing. Sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't. But I do think that she enjoys herself while she is there.

Chatty kid...

This is the most that I could get her talking. As soon as she sees the little red light on the camera she gets all camera shy and stops talking. Enjoy...

Watching ASU Softball with Papa...

So I was coloring Cathy's hair and She was coloring mine...so papa had baby duty. They were busy watching softball and look who fell asleep. I never really thought that softball was all that exciting either.
Look at her cute little hand holding on to her Papa. Dani will choose her Papa over her Nana almost everytime. She is a Papa's Girl.

Ladies in Red...

Mommy loves her little girl.
I just wanted to take some pictures of us, but it was too bright for little Dani. She wasn't very excited to look up. And she certainly wasn't going to smile. But isn't she cute?

Sleeping Peacefully....

There are so many times that Dani will wake up just sobbing. I will hussle my rump into her room and by the time I get there she will have found her thumb and be totally asleep. Isn't she precious?

Rubber Ducky...

This is by far the best purchase that I have made as a mom. It was $9.99 at Target, made by Munchkin. It isn't huge so it doesn't take long to fill. It is completely padded so no bonked head in the tub and it quacks when you squeeze its beak. Dani loves it!!! and I love it too.
Right were the water hits her tummy you can see her little hernia. We just found out this week that she doesn't have to have surgery to get it fixed. (letting out a big sigh of relief.) Dr. Janik said that he was so glad he decided to wait a month. He also said that it has closed alot in just one month and should be completely closed by her first birthday. Thank you to all of you who were praying for her. Our prayers were answered.

the 4th of July...

This is the first Independence Day that I didn't see fireworks. Arizona is so weird! There are no fireworks sold to the average individual. None in the grocery store, nothing! It is against the law. You have to be a pyrotechnic person to have fireworks. We didn't go to see any because we were too tired. We actually went to bed at 9:30. We spent the day painting our bedroom. It use to be a dark chocolate brown and now it is a nice shade of peaceful green. It was far from peaceful getting it to that point. Pictures coming soon...
Isn't she cute? I love the double chin. These jammies were the first outfit we purchased when we found out we were pregnant. Doesn't she look so excited to be wearing them. I think I was more excited to put her in them.

My OTHER Baby Girl....

This is Gianna. She is the little girl that I nanny three times a week. She is so much fun. I love to see how she has grown. She is six months old and weighs only 15 pounds. Dani will weigh that in the next couple of weeks. She is also crawling...fun times for all!!!!
