Good Times...

Dani gets her hands on J.J. yet again. I left him on the couch today when the phone rang. I turned around and Dani had picked him up, all by herself and was hold him against her, supporting his head, rocking back and forth. What a little mother she is. How do you convince you child that she isn't big enough to be doing those things?
J.J. is a binky boy. He loves to suck and suck. It was just so cute to see him holding his binky in his mouth that I had to take the opportunity capture the image forever and share it.
Oh, so cute. He slept for hours today in his car seat. We never went anywhere, but he was so comforted by his car seat that I just left him there.
I am trying to get a good picture so we can send out and announcement, but J.J. doesn't cooperate with me.
I laid J.J. down by his daddy and I left the room, when I came back J.J. was holding Jerms finger. I am constantly amazed by the love of a father for his child. It makes me think of the love that our Father in Heaven has for us. I wonder how many times our Heavenly Mother watched as we clung to the hand of our loving Father, and how she must see the same thing now when we trust in His Love and have faith in His Plan. What a blessing it is to be loved so much by someone so perfect. I am so grateful to have the knowledge of the gospel. It sustains me.

No Greater Love than Family...

Dani cannot get enough of her little brother. If I set him down anywhere that she can reach she is all over him. He is so tolerant of her. He never has a problem with her and her love that she so freely gives.
It was so funny. She was loving on him and kissing him and he tooted and she sat up totally confused. I was laughing my guts out.
It is so great to see our little family growing and loving together. Jerm is such an incredible Daddy. We love him so much!!!

Jeremy Lynn Barber Jr.

I didn't feel very big, but I felt very ready to not be pregnant anymore.
Here He Is. J.J. came into the world at 5:55 am on August 7, 2008. It was a great delivery, as good as any delivery can go. I had a great nurse, Amy, and my mom-in-law. I wouldn't have made it without them and Jeremy by my side.
J.J. is 6 lbs and 3 oz. and 19 1/2 in long.
Daddy was very proud of his little man. Dani was so excited to see him. Can you believe this little smile?
Nana worked the four days before J.J. was born and then stayed up all night long with Jeremy and I. Then she took Danilynn home and had her for two days straight.
Papa's Picture. He has one of these for all of his little grandkids.
Danilynn can't get enough of lil' J.J. She wanted to hold him and didn't want to let anyone else have their turn. This is Anne Terai. She is Addison's mommy and she was also the doctor on call the night that I delivered J.J. She is such a great doctor and she was so supportive. She has been such a blessing for our little family. Daddy loves the little bubby!!!
Danilynn came to visit us and she was so excited to hold her little brother.
She took a seat in the rocking chair and read herself a little story. She is always entertaining herself. She is such a great daughter. We love her so much.

She is telling us we need to be quiet so that J.J. can sleep. She is so concerned about him it is so cute.
Say Cheese with Mommy!!!

It is a good thing that these two have each other because they are both snuggle bugs. The world is always so much better when your Daddy's arms are around you. Some good love from Big Sis.Smile!!!On Friday August 8th, J.J.'s nurse noticed that he was breathing really fast. He turned really red and couldn't slow down. They had to take him back to the nursery and put him in an oxygen tent, draw his blood, take a chest x-ray and start and I.V. He stayed in the oxygen tent for about 8 hours. Those were some hard hours for me and Jerm. We couldn't hold him and I couldn't nurse him. When went to go see him the first time he was crying and upset. He calmed down as soon as he heard his daddy's voice. It was so cool to watch. I sat there with tears in my eyes and a prayer in my heart and I was comforted so much by the fact that J.J. was so visibly comforted by his Dad.

Ready to go Home. Once J.J. was released to leave the hospital, we couldn't get out of there fast enough. Daddy and Nana went shopping to get an outfit to travel home in. I love these little overalls. He was totally drowning in them, but he was so cute in them. Can you tell that we had to put his shoes on to hold his socks on? These overalls are suppose to be shorts but little J.J. is just too little. He was ready to go home and see his family.

Yummy Mac-n-Cheese...

Dani loves Mac-n-Cheese. Today we learned that it makes great hair product. She had it every where. That is why her hair is standing straight up. I think that she was trying to get it into her body through absorbtion. Do you think that the taste would stay with you longer if you could absorb it?

Feeding Paizly...

Danilynn helps Papa feed the dogs everyday. Some days Paizly really has to work for her food. Dani spilled her food all over the floor so she decided that she needed to clean it up. She sat there and picked up each piece of fallen food and then she would dump them all over again. Poor Paizly just sat there and waited for her to finish cleaning up. I finally told Paizly that it was ok and she could eat. She would probably starve to death if she waited for Danilynn to clean it up.

Playing Piano at Grandma Hales...

Danilynn and I flew to Utah to visit with my family. Jenna was "harvesting" her stem cells for a stem cell transplant and we wanted to see her. We stayed with Grandma Walker at Grandma Hale's.

Danilynn loved playing Grandma's piano. She would pull herself onto the bench and just start pounding out her little song on the keys.

She is such a happy girl. And always so happy to entertain anyone who needs a smile.

Rusty Old Wagon...

When Aunt Suzie was a little girl, she fell and broke her hip (I think.). Her Papa Wheeler fixed her wagon and put her name on it.
Danilynn found it and decided to make it her own.
She had her Papa pulling her around the yard. She just sat in the wagon and smiled. She was so excited.

Waiting to See the Doctor...

Danilynn had a check-up and she kept us both entertained by reading a story. She felt like such a big girl. She is growing up so fast.

It Snowed?

Late one morning I laid down to take a little nap while Dani watched the "Wiggles". She woke me up by "cleaning" my face with a wipe. She had emptied the whole wipe container all over the floor while I napped. She was so proud of herself.

Daddy....

No matter what condition Dani is in she will run for her daddy when he walks in the door from work. I had to chase her down with a towel. She was just getting into the tub and she had to see daddy before she would get in.

Watering the Plants with Papa...

Every night Danilynn helps her Papa water the plants and themselves. They have so much fun together.

Papa's Helpers...

If Danilynn is ever missing, I can always find her on her Papa's chair in his office, playing on his laptop. She loves her Papa.Cameron came to visit again with his parent and the kids were inseperable. They hung out in Papa's office just like Danilynn normally does.
Papa put them in the chair and spun them around.

They were laughing when me and Cami caught up to them with the cameras.
